COMPLEMENTARY COLORS LESSON

GEOMETRIC AND ORGANIC SHAPES LESSON

This lesson focuses on the complementary colors with the goal of students being able to recognize and apply them in a work of art. Students are also expected to apply various lines in their work which has been taught prior to this lesson.

This is one of my favorite lesson's that focuses on geometric and organic shapes integrated with a technology activity. After learning about lines, students will be tasked with drawing various overlapping lines in order to create organic and geometric shapes. Students will be able to identify, create, and apply geometric and organic shapes in a work of art.
